On the Copyright of Maps

The reproduction of maps is subject to the permission of the holder or owner of their copyright (the Copyright Law 40/61 1ş). The City Survey of the City of Tampere holds the copyright on the maps produced by the City of Tampere.

Using Maps in the Internet

Copying maps or their parts into other websites or using them otherwise on the Internet without the permission of the owner of the copyright is prohibited. Links to the maps situated within the Tampere web server can be used on other sites according to instructions without charge. This does not include the right to use the maps in any transferable material. In such cases, the permit to use the map is to be negotiated case by case. Using Maps in Printed Matter

All use of any maps in printed matter is subject to licence and liable to charge determined in compliance with the map reproduction tariff of the City of Tampere. Apply for the licence using an application form available at our office.
