Pregnant women have access to the shelter home as well as mothers with children of tender age. If necessary, fathers can also live in the shelter home.
The shelter home is intended for persons subject to domestic violence or for family members under the threat of such violence. It is open 24 hours a day.
An adolescent can visit the shelter home when confused about his/her life situation, when experiencing problems at home or when in need of a safe place to spend the night.
The Women's Shelter Home offers temporary housing for female residents of Tampere who are suffering from domestic violence, intoxicant addiction problems and/or mental disorder. Clients might also be lacking housing or facing some other crisis.
Tampere emergency housing and support housing unit offers housing for women and men living in Tampere who are in a crisis situation.
It has a 24 hour stand-by and supervision service.
