The area surrounding the Haihara Manor provides an interesting place for an excursion. You can soak in the traditional atmosphere of the old buildings or visit art exhibitions. There are also art courses, park concerts and puppet shows for you to enjoy. By clicking on the links on the left-hand side of the page you can see an up-to-date programme of what is going on at Haihara today.
The main building can be reserved through the Cultural Affairs for meetings or family gatherings.
By car:
Coming from Tampere city centre, drive straight down Kalevantie - Messukyläntie for about 6 kilometres. After the overpass of highway number 9, turn right onto Juvankatu at the next traffic lights. From the very next crossroads, turn left to Kirsikatu. Approximately 500 metres later the road will curve to the right and become Haiharankatu. You will find the Haihara estate on the right-hand side of the road.
By bus:
Bus number 15 goes from the Central Square to Haihara. The terminus is next to the Haihara estate. The bus runs every 30 minutes.
