Art Arc

In city of Tampere, a solid and comprehensive cultural programme is designed for school-age children and young persons. The aim is to achieve an unbroken span throughout the comprehensive school to make pupils familiar with different fields of arts.

The art span is designed in cooperation with schools, teachers, experts, children culture organizations, cultural and artistic institutes, associations and the municipalities of the Tampere region, Pirkanmaa. One of the main development areas of Art Arc focuses on school-age children and young persons needing specific support. It also has for goal to develop the contents and the volume of art education and art supply proposed to them.

Art Arc is carried out in cooperation with the Tampere City Deparment of Cultural Affairs, Tampere Educational and Teaching Service Center and Tampere City Museum Services. TAITE-unit of Museum Services coordinates Art Arc programme. Art Arc is a part of the national Aladdin's lamp -network.

TAITE-unit also organizes education and numerous events for families, children and young people. Our values are social equality, accessibility and reachability. Art Art and its events are free of charge.
