Pyynikki Swimming Pool

Constructed in 1956, the Pyynikki swimming pool is one of the first swimming pools built in Finland, and it is protected by Finland’s National Board of Antiquities. After smaller renovations during the past decades the swimming pool has been renovated extensively in 2007 – 2012 in full respect of the old. All the indoor facilities of the swimming pool have been renovated, only the exterior is as before.

The facilities are modern and welcoming. Dressing rooms, showers, saunas and the pool department are located on the second floor of the three-storey building. Along with the adult’s pool there are also a multi-function pool with a floor which can be raised and lowered, and a paddling pool for children as well as a jacuzzi and a cold-water pool.
