Where can I go for a swim? Where can I go skiing? What would be a good place for rambling?

You will find information on these pages about sports and exercise facilities maintained by the City of Tampere: from athletics fields to indoor swimming pools, rambling routes and instructed activities. The sports facilities and services are open to all residents of Tampere.

Groups and sports clubs can apply for regular practice times at the sports facilities. The facilities are maintained, organised and coordinated by the Tampere City Sports Services. It also supervises the functions of each sports facility.

The task of the Tampere City Sports Services is to enable people to exercise on their own and to join in the activities of sports clubs and other non-governmental organisations. Clubs and organisations can apply for municipal subsidy by sending in an application to the Tampere City Sports Services.
