Tourist Card

The new tourist card

The Tourist Card is valid for one or more days after its first use. The card is good for an unlimited number of trips during its period of validity. No extra fee is charged on late-night buses.

Always pass your card over the card reader when entering the bus. The display shows the card’s expiry date. When you use the Tourist Card for the first time, the ticketing machine prints a receipt showing the expiry date. You should keep the receipt for as long as the card is valid because you may be asked to show it by the driver or the inspector. When the card has expired, information on the expiry is shown on the ticketing machine display and on the receipt printed by the machine.

The Tourist Card is personal and must bear the holder’s signature. The card is valid within the limits of the City of Tampere on all buses that have the green and blue joint local transport symbol.

You can purchase a Tourist Card at
* Service Point Frenckell, Frenckellinaukio 2 B
* GoTampere, railway station
* R-kioski, railway station
* Matkahuolto, bus station
* Juvenes-kioski Centre, Central Square
* Keskustorin Kioski, Central Square

Separate cards are sold for adults, young persons (12-19 years old) and children (under 12 years old.)

Recycle the card! You can return it to the Service point or buy a new Tourist Ticket using the same card. You can reload the card as many as 30 times.

The new Tourist Card is easy and quick to use!
