Tickets

Bus transport within the City of Tampere is operated jointly by Tampere City Transport and private operators. All buses having the blue-green joint local transport symbol have the same fares and guidelines.

There are various ways to pay the fare for riding a bus in Tampere. You can pay for a single ticket in cash when getting on the bus. The most economical tickets, however, are loaded onto the Tampere Travel Card.

The regional ticket system is designed for trips extending to municipalities outside the City of Tampere.

The Tourist Card is the ideal public transport alternative for tourists and other occasional travellers in the city.
