The City of Tampere receives trainees both from the employment office and from school work placement programmes.

Students wishing to gain work experience for a degree should contact the branch in question direct.

Trainees trough the employment office

Trainees that come through the employment office are either participants in preparatory labour market training or labour market subsidy trainees. They don’t have an employment contract with the municipality as specified in the Employment Contracts Act, but a training contract of usually six months’ duration.<BR/><BR/>Trainees referred to the City by the employment office should make an appointment for a job interview at the Central Office Building, Aleksis Kiven katu 14—16 B.
