If you suspect having caught the transmission, contact the Telephone Health Service!
If you suspect having caught the transmission of the influenza virus, go neither to the TAUH First Aid Unit Acuta nor to the health center in your area of residence, but do call the Telephone Health Service (of the City of Tampere):
- calling from a land line 10023
- calling from a mobile phone (03) 5657 0023
The numbers are operational every day at 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. there will be a recorded announcement giving the instructions for urgent cases. (only in Finnish)
A call to the Telephone Health Service, including a possible waiting time, is billed according to the standard local network charges.
If you hear a queuing tone (three consecutive beeps: a long low, a short low, a long high) after dialing the number, do not hang up but stay on the line and wait for your turn.
