Birth control advice is given at the youth clinic and at the family planning clinic.

Abortion must be carried out before the 12th week of pregnancy. For abortion a doctor’s permission is required.

If you have had unsafe sex and/or suspect that you have caught an infection, visit the clinic for treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (Sukupuolitautien vastaanotto).

The HIV test can be taken without a referral from The clinic for treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (Sukupuolitautien vastaanotto). A referral to the HIV test performed by Fimlab Laboratoriot Ltd can be obtained from the different service points of the City of Tampere’s Health Department.
