Home medical supplies

Patients in Tampere are entitled to medical supplies free of charge, based on a report from their doctor or nurse. The prerequisite is that the need for the supplies and equipment is estimated to be of a long-term nature, usually more than three months.
The distribution point for the medical supplies is located at the edge of the Central Square (Keskustori), on Aleksis Kiven katu.

First-time customers must present a certificate specifying the amount of medical supplies they will need for three months.

Orders for the medical supplies can be made by telephoning 03 5657 0003 or by visiting the distribution point in person. Diabetics are not required to order their medical supplies in advance.
