Client fees

Client fees on health services are based on a relevant act and regulation on client fees charged within municipal social and health care.

Please note:
Patients 15 years of age or older are charged 33,90 euros for a missed appointment that has not been cancelled. The fee can be charged for appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. The fee is not charged if the patient had an acceptable reason for not cancelling the appointment.

As regards occupational health care, the examinations and care falling into the special payment category and rooms for 1–2 persons, patients are charged fees determined by the Committee for Social and Health Services.

Overdue bills
For overdue bills a penalty interest of 8 % is charged. In addition, the sum of 5 euros is charged for each demand for payment. Any outstanding claims are collected by a debt collection agency. The bills are directly distrainable.
