Regional development project for migration ALMA

ALMA-project supports both customers with immigrant background and workers in the field of immigrant work.

ALMA operates as a network organization that develops the immigrant-related services and skills in different areas:

• Immigrants in early-stage reception
• Case management
• Improving employee and workplace knowledge in working with immigrant services and clients

Alma’s multiprofessional work team consists of project manager Päivi Sinkkonen and project coordinators Sanni Ojanen, Katariina Tcheuffa and Lilli Rasilainen.

The team is working with local immigrant-client workers and the Tampere immigrant work coordinators, the project's directing group and various networks.

Alma aims to develop the Pirkanmaa region’s work communities and workers who assist people with immigrant backgrounds.
