We create and renovate parks, and we construct green areas adjacent to traffic. On request, we also create gardens and similar amenities for properties of the City of Tampere. We carry out contract projects for public institutions and co-operate with neighbouring municipalities.
Creating a park requires a variety of professional skills.
Green areas are constructed according to the maintenance categorisation determined in the management plan. Annually we create and renovate about ten hectares of green areas.
In winter, park constructors look after park woodland and construct pedestrian and bicycle paths in the parks. Some of the constructors make and repair park fittings and playground equipment at our workshop.
