Island regulations

Please conduct yourself in an orderly fashion, so that everyone can enjoy themselves at Viikinsaari’s events and public areas. Viikinsaari is a joy to us all!

Viikinsaari’s Instructions and Regulations for the Public:

1. The overseers have first aid supplies
2. Please adhere to the instructions of the caretaker and the overseers
3. The beaches, public campfire site and gaming fields are open every day during the open hours of the island
4. Making a fire is allowed only in the public campfire site
5. The island has its own small boats harbour. You are not allowed to keep your boat on the beaches
6. It is forbidden to bring any alcoholic beverages of your own to the island
7. Pets should be kept leashed, and they are not allowed on the beaches. The owners are responsible for the droppings of the animals
8. You are not allowed to stay on the island overnight
9. The City of Tampere is not responsible for the property of the people visiting the island and will not remunerate any damages in case of possible injuries or other damages
10. In all other matters, please adhere to the ordinances of The City of Tampere
