Haihara’s summer café Kahvikamari serves classic baked goods, each one having a story behind its invention. You can listen to the stories of how the pastries came into being while enjoying yourself with a freshly baked bun. The rich savoury pies are flavoured with herbs straight from the mansion’s own garden.
Kahvikamari is situated in the old workers’ quarters. The quarters functioned as a big farmhouse living room, where the workers gathered every morning to hear their job assignments for the day and in the evenings to mend their tools. It was also a place where the workers held their festivities. Part of the building served as the workers’ living quarters.
The café is open (1.6.-30.8.) every day from 12am to 9.30pm.
The
café can also be reserved for groups and family gatherings outside the
regular opening hours.
