On and around the island one can find playgrounds, swimming shores, gaming fields, summer theatre, dance pavilion, small boats harbor and public campfire sites amongst many other, fascinating objects of interest. From the info you can borrow petanque, croquet, badminton, dart, football and volleyball.

The Pyhäjärvi Chapel

For peace and tranquility one can visit island’s ecumenical chapel, designed to its present form by artist Ilkka Väätti. The chapel is both a work of art and a place for meditation, and is widely used for christenings and weddings.

The Pyhäjärvi ecumenical chapel is open Tue–Sat 11am–8pm, Sun 13am–6pm. Enquiries and reservations: phone 03 5656 6137.
