Children’s Culture

The Cultural Office is an active organiser of children’s events. Tampere is known as the cradle of children’s culture in the Pirkanmaa region. The ample supply of cultural services is guaranteed by a joint project called Pirkkanen, which is aimed at promoting children’s culture in Pirkanmaa region. An example of the annual activities organised by Pirkkanen is the Pirkanmaa children’s week of culture in February.

The Children's Cultural Centre Rulla welcomes children of all ages to visit the changing exhibitions and experience art and culture free of charge.
