The accounting period for the municipality is one calendar year. Each accounting period must have its financial statements made by the end of March. The City Council reviews the financial statements at the end of June.
The financial statements of the City of Tampere include a profit and loss statement, balance sheet and notes to the accounts, and also an analysis of the realization of the budget, annual report and the consolidated balance sheet.
