We have an online registration system operated by TAVI Congress Bureau.

All reservations (incl. social program and hotel) should be made on the same registration form, also the program that is included in the delegate fee. Fees

Early registration until March 14, 2010

Delegate fee: 300 €
One day fee, Thu 20 May: 100 €

Late registration after March 14, 2010

Delegate fee: 400 €
One day fee, Thu 20 May: 150 €

Delegate fee includes:

  • Scientific program
  • Conference material
  • Lunch and coffee daily during the conference (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
  • Welcome reception on Wednesday, May 19
  • Tampere City reception on Thursday, May 20
  • Reception in the Planetarium and Conference dinner at the Näsinneula restaurant on Friday, May 21
  • Gala dinner on Saturday, May 22
  • Information desk services on site

Hotel Reservations

A quota of rooms in different rate categories has been booked at attractive rates in selected hotels. Hotel reservations are to be done via the online registration form. Tampere will be crowded in the conference period and in order to secure accommodation of your choice, we kindly advise you to register as early as possible. Hotel reservations are to be made through the congress bureau in order to benefit from the special rates. All hotel reservations, especially after April 16, 2010, will be subject to availability. N.B. In Finland hotels have mainly non-smoking rooms and public premises or hotels have totally forbidden smoking in their premises.

Hotel Deposit

To guarantee your hotel reservation, a deposit of one night’s room rate is required in advance together with the registration fee. The deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and it will be deducted from your final hotel bill when checking out. If you must cancel your reservation, see the cancellation and refund policy below. All prices are per room per night, including breakfast and VAT. The hotel deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is made after April 16, 2010. Possible cancellations or changes to reservations should be made in writing by e-mail or fax with TAVI Congress Bureau at emya2010.congress@tavicon.fi or +358 3 233 0444.

Payment and confirmation

All payments (registration fee and hotel deposit) should be made in advance in euros (EUR) in connection with the registration. When registering online, you will receive instant confirmation of successful registration to your email.

Please use the participant’s reference number when making the bank transfer. The reference number will be shown on the automatic reply that you will receive after submitting the registration form online. Payment by bank transfer is to be settled within two weeks of registration, by May 5, 2010 the latest. After May 5, registration is only possible by credit card payment, which will be dealt automatically.

Note!

  • all payments should be made free of banking charges
  • bank drafts as well as personal, traveller’s or company cheques cannot be accepted
  • an invoice will be sent by request only, in which case a supplement of 9 € will be added.
  • kindly mark the details (exact invoicing address and reference) for your invoice request in the ‘Other Special Information’ field on the online registration form.

Confirmation of participation

TAVI Congress Bureau will confirm the participation upon receiving the registration and payments. No participation confirmation letters will be sent before all the payments (including the hotel deposit and eventual social program) have been received.

Cancellation and refund policy

Kindly note that all cancellations and/or changes to registration and accommodation must be made in writing to TAVI Congress Bureau by e-mail: emya2010.congress(at)tavicon.fi or by fax: +358 3 233 0444.

If a cancellation for the participation and/or hotel reservation is received before April 16, 2010, the registration fee will be refunded with the exception of a handling fee of EUR 50 and/or the hotel deposit will be refunded minus a 20 € handling fee. No refunds can be made for cancellations received after April 16, 2010.

In a case of no-show, there will be no refund of the registration fee or the hotel deposit. There is no extra fee if a registration is transferred to a colleague from the same organization.
