40. INTERNATIONAL ART COLLECTION OF THE SARA HILDÉN
FOUNDATION,
7 September 1987 - 24 January 1988
After the "Britannia" exhibition, the museum
showed an exhibition of works from the collection of the Sara Hildén
Foundation. For the first time, works were grouped into different rooms
according to country.
The Central Gallery on the upper floor showed American art; Gallery A displayed
German, Belgian and Dutch art; Gallery B showed
Spanish and Latin American art; and Gallery C exhibited French art. Level
A on the lower floor displayed Italian art, Level B showed Japanese art
and Level C exhibited English art.
A total of 11,242 visitors attended the exhibition.
