02. ARTISTS FROM THE PROVINCE OF HÄME,
19 January - 8 February 1980
An exhibition of works by artists from the Province of Häme was on display on Level A on the lower floor of the museum.
The exhibition was made up of three parts: the sculptures
and drawings of Matti Koskela; a recorded tape comprising electro-acoustic
music by composer Jarmo Sermilä; and poems by Väinö Kirstinä.
The exhibition was planned as an extensive visual-acoustic space through
which visitors could walk.
The exhibition was carried out in cooperation with the
Art Committee of the Province of Häme.
