Pakkahuone Hall

This large space is suitable for acoustic and amplified music, for theatre and for dance. It can be used to serve a variety of purposes, including celebrations and exhibitions. There is a seating capacity for 550 people, 50 of those seats are on a raised grandstand and the remainder are in rows of collapsable chairs. If seating is not used it is possible to accommodate a total of 1200 people. This hall has adequate sound and lighting equipment.

If desired, the option exists to connect this vast space to the adjacent Klubi music club, run by the Tampereen Kulttuurikamari company. The combined capacity is then 1500.

There have been concerts and performances by David Byrne, Motörhead, The Wailers, Ramones, Ornette Coleman, Black Sabbath, Bo Diddley, Kent, John Zorn, Cindy Blackman, Prodigy, Haris Alexiou, Type O Negative, Taj Mahal, Le Mystre des Voix Bulgares, Black Sabbath and Skatalites among others plus every major Finnish act!
